Bishop Jenniefer Hightower, a licensed and ordained preacher of the full Gospel
of Jesus Christ. She was born on October 25th in Fort Lauderdale, FL. At the age of six, she and her parents moved
to Massachusetts. She is the second eldest of three brothers. She is happily married to Mr. Samuel Hightower and
a mother of two beautiful children, daughter Jade and son Joshua; also a grandmother of 4 adorable grandsons, Jahsiah, twins
Jaden & Zakiah and Zackariah along
with a new addition a grandaughter Ji’Taya Jeneat Jenniefer her namesake. In 1977 Bishop Hightower graduated
from Brookline High School and then continued her education Fiske University in Nashville, TN studying to become a Business
Manager. Bishop Hightower then returned back to Boston and studied at Newbury Junior College for 1 year in Accounting/Business
Management, then transferred to Roxbury Community College for 1 1/2 years and studied in the Nursing Program. She's
a former employee of Raytheon Company, Waltham, MA where she worked building parts to missiles for the government for 5 years.
In 1994 Bishop Hightower received a certificate in Family Day Care. In
1995 she founded One Thousand and One United Inc., Creative Performance Arts After-School & Summer Program, serving
as Senior Director and as an Educator. She tutors and teaches drama, cooking, and Spanish to school age children enrolled
at the program within the walls of Revival Deliverance Edification Center # 1.
Bishop Hightower is the author of two teaching manuals entitled, "A
Guide for Outreach in Street Ministry," 1991 and "Angelos" written in 1992.
She has also marketed several Biblical Teaching Series & Sermons on both audio and video provided to her by God with
diversity of topics to minister to the whole man.
Bishop Hightower is also the Vice President and Chairperson of the Board of
One Thousand and One United, Inc., a non-profit organization which was established in 1984.
Bishop Hightower has received numerous certificates and awards from the prison
institutions in New England for the outstanding ministry service provided to inmates. On June 24, 1995 she was elected
State of Massachusetts Elder, by the Pastors, Ministers, Laypersons Fellowship Conference the Board of Bishops, Petersburg,
VA. On January 18, 1987 she was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and on June 10, 1990 she was ordained
as a fully equipped clergy. On October 27, 2001 Bishop Hightower was consecrated to the Episcopal Office as the Presiding Prelate of the Revial Deliverance Edification
Center Churches, Inc. She also serves as a jurisdictional Bishop under the authority of Bishop Paul L. McKoy, Sr.,
D.D. the presiding prelate of Zion Holy Temple Church, Inc. Dorchester, MA. Bishop Hightower is also a member of the
Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishop's Congress. On March 19, 2005 the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishop’s selected
Bishop Hightower for Apostolic Succession. She was granted the Academic Degree
of Doctor of Divinity by the Christ-United Theological School of Cleveland, Ohio. Bishop Hightower serves in the five-fold
governmental ministry as a Pastor, Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist and Teacher. She is the Pastor and Founder of Revival
Deliverance Edification Center # 1, a non-denominational church which is located at 471 River Street, Mattapan, MA.
On April 16, 1998 she also established Revival Deliverance Edification Center # 2, Bloomington,
IN. In the year 2003, May 4th, Revival Deliverance Praise & Worship Center was established in New
Bedford, MA. She is also the founder of the Boston Coucil of Clergy which was established on December 15, 2001.
The Lord has blessed tremendously again in
the establishing of two awesome ministries. In the month of May 17, 2004 Dr. Hightower
established and founded The Revival Deliverance Edification Development Corporation where she serves in the office
as the Executive Director. On April 24, 2004 Dr. Hightower established the Theresa
McKay and the Elder Sallie M. Jones Emergency Housing both located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island,
where God is still in the blessing business. On March 31, 2007 was the dedication of the new Revival Deliverance
Edification Media Center located at 122 Benefit Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Yet, before God called her to Pastor, He spoke to her from the book of Luke
14:23 saying, "Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may
be filled." Bishop Hightower obeyed the Word of the Lord, as she preached theWord of God to the outcast of
society, and to the lost in the highways and byways of the city streets of Boston and the surrounding cities for 11 years.
The churches were given birth to from the womb of the Urban Outreach Street Ministry, which is an intense
ministry of Evangelism, and is solely sustained by the power of intercessory prayer and fasting. This church (ministry)
is an open door to anyone, regardless of race, sex or previous religious status. Our vision is to feed the hungry, clothe
the naked, provide shelter for the homeless and to educate the people of God' creation in all areas that pertain to life spiritually,
physically, socially and economically.
Bishop Hightower has licensed twelve preachers and ordained seven to preach
the gospel nationwide. Under the umbrella of RDEC there are 19 preachers, that are currently in training for the ministry
with Bishop Hightower, not counting the numerous youth preachers. Since the establishment of Revival Deliverance Edification
Center, various ministries have been birth.
